Condé Nast Traveler: Sweden Listed its Entire Country on Airbnb

The home sharing website is now offering tourists the opportunity to enjoy the Sweden’s natural amenities.

There’s no shortage of quirky Airbnb listings. From nights in castles to overnight stays in Abbey Road Studios, you can find unique places to stay all over the world. And now, according to a recent article in Condé Nast Traveler, the entire country of Sweden has been listed on the home sharing site.

The move is a PR stunt to get tourists to visit Sweden, and it seems like it’ll pay off. Visit Sweden highlighted the country’s top destinations, including Stockholm and the Baltic island of Gotland, in an effort to showcase its natural amenities. And it’s encouraging tourists to enjoy the “freedom to roam,” which is a constitutional right in the country. Each listing from the country features advice from local Swedes with what to do and where to go.
